Working with Key Allied Health Providers to coordinate reports and updates to provide to the NDIA to demonstrate the efficacy of your plan. Creating effective Support Coordinator Budgets and Summaries to get the ask across in cases where reports are not read well.

Planning and Implementation

Working with you to create an implementation plan and budget that will meet your needs and stay within budget for the NDIS plan period.

Sourcing and hiring appropriate Allied Health Therapists and Support Workers that will meet your specific needs.

Services include:

  • Detailed budget
  • Implementation meeting
  • Ongoing weekly/bi-weekly contact
  • Monthly catch up
  • Review preparation
  • Monthly review and monitoring of spend

Advocacy

Clear, concise and effective communication is important to good Support Coordination.

As your Support Coordinator I will advocate on your behalf with stakeholders from the NDIA, Doctors and Allied Health providers to Politicians and community groups to ensure that you are able to reach your goals and live with dignity and independence.

Services include:

  • Communicating with the NDIA on your behalf
  • Ensuring that Allied Health providers are sending reports and services effectively and in line with budget
  • Advocating with local and federal members of parliament to ensure timely responses from the NDIA
  • Working with Doctors to ensure that letters and forms are completed in-line with NDIA requirements to make sure you receive the supports you need
  • Communication with schools and work places to ensure that your disability specific needs are being met through reasonable accommodations
  • Dealing with community groups to ensure you are receiving all the support available to you

Experience

As a Neurodiverse woman I have lived and professional experience of dealing with the NDIA and other stakeholders, including non-NDIS related services that you may be able to access through your community.
